From our Nmap scans, we found that the service for Server Message Blocks (SMB) was open. This service operated on port 445. After doing some research, we discovered that port 445 is extremely vulnerable to attacks. Using metasploit, the team was able to exploit the host using the exploit windows/smb/ms08_067_netapi. After running this exploit, the team had full access to the host. We also managed to get into this host utilizing a Armitage hail merry.
